Book is from the Library of Walter Willisson Stephen, grandson of Marianne Gaillard Willisson Spratley and great-grandson of Mr. Thomas Gaillard of the Charleston, South Carolina Gaillards. Thomas, his daughter Marianne Gaillard Willisson Spratley, granddaughter Elizabeth Willisson Stephen and great-grandson Walter Willisson Stephen were all published authors. From the Stephen Family Estate. Like most boys of his age Walter was a fan of baseball and fishing and inside are hand written tips on fishing and scores of his favorite teams and players. He wrote on the inside cover page "MASTER WALTER WILLISSON STEPHEN AGE 11". Book contains pages for all 365 days with testimonials for Gude's Pepto-Mangan on each page. Book measures 4 1/2" by 5 5/8". Covers and spine are in rough condition but inside is in excellent condition.
