Jig will require you to spin the case to cut all the way through due to the size of the case.
Additionally you may sand off the lump under the saw carriage to be able to cut in 1 pass, but I do not recommend modifying the saw.
You will need to prepare the saw before use to get the best results.
1: Tram your saw - You will need to ensure the vise is aligned square to the blade. Tighten down the knob.
2: Open the vise and insert the jig until it rests square on the notch. Tighten the vise snug.
3. Insert one casing from the right side of the jig, and rest in the indent. Hold the casing down and to the right, then make your cut.
It goes without saying, but watch your fingers while trimming. There is no guard to get casings stuck on, trimming requires your full attention.
4. The neck will drop free and fall towards the back leaving a perfectly cut case ready to deburr and final trim on rotary.
To complete your casings you will need to deburr and / or rotary trim the casings down to the proper size for the cartridge you intend on loading.
Why is this important? Your saw may not cut square, as many do not.
This gives you the opportunity to square the case and remove any burrs before getting one suck in the dies!
This jig leaves you options by maintaining maximum case length for a clean final trim.
Deprime live brass prior to using this jig, and clean all cases well prior to loading.
