The upper mantel is covered with vine woodcarvings with a lion at one end and a lioness at the other. Overall this fireplace surround is in very good antique condition, straight, solid and with no significant damage. There are chips an cracks that are typical. Please examine the photos carefully to see all areas of minor damage. Dimensions: 72.5" wide, 62.5" tall, and 16" deep (front to back). The inside opening is 44" wide and 48" high.
