ANTIQUE EGYPTIAN REVIVAL -OVER THE TOP- REPOUSSEE BRASS & COPPER FIREPLACE WOOD OR COAL BUCKET / SCUTTLE BUCKET .  WEIGHTED BOTTOM..
AGE: Circa 1880 to 1930.
DECORATION: Top Brass Panel is Ornately decorated with an Egyptian Pharaoh's Face in Center with Birds h
Holding Banners and Their Beaks  on Either Side.  Geometric and Fern Type Designs Throughout Entirety of Bucket Sides and Front.  Norse God Depicted on Lower Copper Front.  Bottom and legs are brass.  Has two loops on the reverse for hanging.  Very beautiful piece, I have never seen one so ornate..
MEASURES: 10 5/8" wide x 21" tall
CONDITION: small daents  here and there from age and use, spot worn through on Pharaoh's nose, If you small splits in the brass at the base, item is still very stable and functional, natural vertegris on the brass and copper, there may have been a brass solder repair to the brass feet at one point (would polish up very nicely if that is what was wanted) - PLEASE REVIEW PHOTOS CAREFULLY FOR CONDITION
