ANTIQUE VICTORIAN BLACK CAST IRON FIREPLACE GRATE Box CLAWFOOT

This True Antique Victorian Cast Iron Clawfoot  Fireplace Grate Box circa early 1900’s is absolutely stunning! The original cast iron is well preserved with only minimal amount of rust/ patina on the bottom of the feet. It has a pair of gorgeous claw feet in the front and has beautiful floral leaf motif on the curved back wall and leaves motif in the front. it’s strikingly beautiful No matter from what angle you look at this masterpiece. It’s hard to believe that such aesthetically elegant looking piece is made of heavy duty cast iron. Please, see photos for details. It has no markings unless it’s well hidden somewhere or made before the year 1895  when it was not required to mark not for export/ import merchandise. It weighs  52.5 pounds, is approximately 20” wide, 14.4“ in height, 12” deep. It’s size is  absolutely perfectly compact as it can fit in any size fireplace. I will gladly ship it within US.
