parts for these repairs. This means all screens I install are OEM. they are pulled from working, like new condition devices. Choosing this repair service guarantees quality at an affordable price. This listing is not selling a complete iPad, it's a repair service only.
Description:
This auction covers the replacement of one digitizer (glass touch screen) for an iPad 5th generation, ONLY. The colors I offer for this glass screen replacement are limited to either white or black as I am using Apple original parts. You may choose which of the two colors you would like. All the customer is required to do is send me an eBay message shortly after buying explaining what color screen you need. Once the customer sends the message, I will reply with a confirmation of payment and my mailing address. The customer will then just have to send the iPad to the address I provide. That’s it! I take care of the rest.
The full cost of this repair service will cover the repair of the touch screen its self, labor, and return shipping! I try to repair these iPads the same day I get them in the mail. Usually the turn around time is just 24 hours but please allow up to 1-3 business days for completion. I operate on a first come, first serve basis. If there are many iPads needing to be serviced, I will repair them in the order of who bought the service first. The "Best Offer" button is for people buying more than one repair at a time ONLY.
PLEASE NOTE:
This service will NOT cover an LCD replacement. This service will only cover the repair of broken touch screen glass. If you have a problem with the image displayed on the LCD, please contact me before buying this service. I offer separate services to repair the LCD you can buy.
Shipping:
I will message the customer shortly after the purchase of the repair service to provide my shipping information. I will provide an address on where to send the iPad. The customer is responsible for shipping the iPad to me. I will cover return shipping costs. I always send the iPads back with USPS 1-3 day priority shipping. If faster or specific shipping is required, please contact me and arrangements can be made. Any other shipping services other than the one provided by me will cost extra based on location.
I also offer shipping insurance up to 0. Any shipping insurance will cost extra as well. The first of insurance is free and guaranteed with every repair service.
Please contact me about same day shipping services should they be necessary. In extreme circumstances, I can have an iPad returned the same day I finish it.
Damages in shipping are not covered by the warrantee. I always offer shipping insurance; however if you do not buy the insurance, please pack your iPad properly.
iPad Password:
I recommend the four-digit code for all iPads be disabled before customers send it to me. If customers do not disable the 4-digit passcode, I will not be able to test the iPad to make sure the touch screen repair is perfect. It is not a requirement to disable it, however if the customer does not, the 30-day warrantee on the repair is void. Customers should NOT disable iCloud, or other passwords, only the 4-digit passcode.
iPad Backups:
I urge every customer to please back up all data on the iPad! I have not had any data loss in doing these repairs so far, but there is always a chance it could happen. Please do not get caught as the first to suffer data loss from this repair! Data loss is not covered by the warrantee.
Bent iPad Corners:
In most cases, bent corners on iPads I receive from customers are not a problem. However, if the corner is damaged enough, I will need to bend all corners back to their original shape so the glass can fit properly. This will most likely be noticeable. The iPad is made of thin aluminum and as a result, my bending them back into place will result in them not quite looking the same as factory new. I do my best to make the corners look as close to new as possible, however you can still tell they were bent back out.
Please keep that in mind when sending me iPads with bent corners.
Please also keep in mind, I also offer a service to replace the rear metal, aluminum, housing of an iPad. If a customer has badly bent corners and wants them looking brand new, please contact me about other repair services, which would cover a new aluminum housing replacement.
Warrantee:
I do offer a 30-day warrantee in the form of 100% money back, or another repair on all repairs I do. This is to protect against faulty products. The warrantee DOES NOT cover customer damage or shipping damage of any kind.
