Celosia "amish orange" Seeds
Between February and April, the seeds should be planted in pots in a greenhouse at a temperature of 13-16 ° C. The soil in which the seeds are planted must be warm. When sprouts reach 2-3 cm in height, they can be individually transplanted into small pots and kept in a warm greenhouse. Keep them in the greenhouse for some time, then suddenly place them in an environment with a lower temperature and stop watering until the soil dries. Due to this approach, you will provide premature flowering of celosia. Plants whose “scallops” look the best are to be planted in nutrient-rich soil and returned to the greenhouse again. For the best effect liquid fertilizers should be applied. So, you will get big beautiful flowers on small plants. If you want your tselozii to be quite small, then you can cut them just below the flower and place them in small pots with sandy soil. If you want to transplant plants to the garden, then this should be done only after warm weather has established. In the garden, seeds should be planted in early spring.
