    THIS CAP IS FOR YOU
    - FOR EVERY PERSON WHO HAS EVER DREAMT OF SOARING THROUGH THE CLOUDS, TAKEN A MOMENT TO DREAM OF PILOTING AN AIRPLANE.  Have you at one time or another secretly longed to soar the clouds, perform acrobatic stunts while watching the annual summer airshow, or just be able to pilot the plane while sitting in seat number 15F traveling home from that monthly, boring business trip?  Certainly many of us have allowed ourselves this indulgence.
    THIS CAP IS FOR YOU!
This cap - it is not just a baseball cap - it is so much, much more.,
Let me further explain why this particular cap should be the one in your collection.
    WHY?
    The logo:
    TOP GUN.
"Top Gun" is a 1986 American action drama film produced by Paramount Pictures.  The film starred Tom Cruise, Kelly McGillis, Val Kilmer and Anthony Edwards.  The film received mixed reviews, but received praise for its action sequences, special effects, the aerial stunts, and, of course, the acting performances by Cruise and McGillis.  After several weeks viewership increased by 45% and won the Academy Award for Best Original Song, "Take My Breath Away" performed by Berlin.  In 2015, the United States Library of Congress selected the film for  preservation in the National Film Registry, finding it
    "
    culturally, historically, or aesthetically
    significant".
    A sequel, titled
    "Top Gun:  Maverick"
was originally scheduled for release June 2020, which was postponed to December 2020, then to November 2021 due to
    the ongoing COVIE-19 pandemic.
As a side note:  the Navy made the F-14 fighter squadron, Screaming Eagles" available for the film.  The USS Enterprise played an instrumental part in the filming.  Future NASA astrinaut Scott Altman piloted F-14 aircraft for many of the film's sequences.  Most land sequences were shot at Naval Air Station Fallon, in Nevada.  Grumman, was the manufacturer of the F-14, and planed an integral paint is assisting Paramount Pictures in various aspects of the film.
