Bound in a 3/4 dark-green morocco over marbled green boards --- Som wear at the hinges, the raised bands and the spine ends ---  Light discoloration as well to the text (not affecting the exquisite plates) and light offsetting at many of the page edges.
There are 36 beautiful tipped-in, full-color plates (drawn by "Lieutenant Chamberlain, Royal Artillery, During the Years 1819 and 1820, with Descriptive Explanations") ---- Also includes the facsimile of the title page (and part of the text) of the original English edition.
