We’re selling off our collections and today’s offering is a vintage D.A.M. Quick 45 fly fishing reel with an extra Quick Change spool (no box), the reel’s original box, and papers. Made in West Germany, this gold-brown anodized reel is set for right handed fishing (cranking with the left hand, fish fighting with the right) and can be user adjusted for the left the handed). The adjustable drag and ratcheting click is functioning well. This reel was likely produced after 1973 and before the early 1980s.

The Reel
and
Extra
Quick Change Spool
: New Old Stock. The reel and quick change extra spool seems to be functional in all regards; extra spool installs correctly. These have not been tested with line and casting on waters.
The Box
and Papers
: In very good condition. Minor corner wear. Repairs have been made to the inside bottom of the box (cellophane tape at the interlocks) and the inside tab on the back left corner has been re-glued. The cardboard inset reel holder has some tears and bends. The D.A.M. Quick 45/55 manual & the Warranty and Repair Stations booklet are in very good condition; folded by the manufacturer and some pages have been dog-earred.
