What is it?
Do you remember Kit from the Knight Rider series? This circuit is a DOUBLE set of LEDs that swipe back and forth similar to the original Kit car.
You don't need to solder both sets of LEDs but it does make for a cool effect. This board is relatively large but can be used as the base for another project.
Using the onboard potentiometer, you can adjust the speed of the LED swipe. It goes from 'off' to 'insane'!

Why did you make it?
Kids love to solder. Although, so do adults.
I designed the board initially for kids to solder in clubs and camps. It is very easy to solder even if you have never soldered before.
This kit includes everything you'll need, here is a detailed parts is of what's included:
555 Timer
4017 Counter
100k Potentiometer
3-1k Resistor
1uF Capacitor
100nF (103) capacitor
8 1N4007 Diodes
12 LEDs (I'm including standard red but you can switch them out, just don't mix & match LEDs)
Micro USB and Screw Terminal
Don't worry about that micro USB jack, I will solder that on for you before I send the kit.
