For sale in this listing is a Dual LED Flasher Kit.
This kit is designed for beginners in electronics. The purpose for this kit is to teach the user about how the Astable Multivibrator circuit functions between a pair of transistors and how to utilize it's operation for the purpose of timing and cycles. The default cycle is intended to be visible with the use of LEDs, but the Astable Multivibrator is capable of producing millions of cycles per second.
After the user has successfully assembled this kit, the finished product will make two LEDs flash alternately from each other in variable intervals as the user adjusts the two trimmers accordingly. The flashing should appear similar to a railroad crossing or other traffic signal flashing alternately. The LEDs pictured in the kit are the default Super-bright in red, but are also available in yellow, green or blue at no additional cost. Please be sure to ask for them if you do not want the default LEDs.
Every user is expected to have a basic understanding of electronics schematics, simple electrical principles such as Ohm's Law and a basic understanding on soldering components to a Printed Circuit Board. Also each user is expected to provide their own tools for assembly. If you would like us to pre-assemble a kit for you, please ask that question before buying.
Certain components may be substituted with an equally functioning item of equal or greater value. While these kits are guaranteed to include all of their necessary parts, they may not appear identical to the images provided in the listing.
