    1. I'm would consider myself a veted reloader and have been realoading consistently for almost 3 years now and up until now have only used the water solution with metal media tumbler method, which was all good and all but it took a lot more time to prep the cases with all the steps that metal media needs in order to process the brass so that the metal media is completely removed from the cases, this vibratory tumbles it literally 3 steps: deprime, pour either walnut or corn cob media in the tub, add brass and let the tumbler do it's thing. I got best results when I leave it running on the garage floor over the night. The tumbler will not disappoint.
    2. This is my first vibratory case tumbler, which I purchased in conjunction with walnut shell tumbling media. I used it to polish military surplus cartridges that were tarnished because they had not been stored in acid-free cardboard. Other than a bit of brown etching from the acid, tumbling for between two and three hours made the cartridges look like they were brand new. I set the unit on a 1/2" thick closed cell foam pad, which may have helped to dampen the sound. While I wouldn't use it in a room full of people trying to hold a conversation, I found the noise readily tolerable when the tumbler is set up in an unoccupied room with the door closed.
    3. Works great. Used lizard walnut shell bedding with a bit of brass polish as some have suggested and it works terrific. I clean my brass in an ultrasonic cleaner, then throw them in this tumbler for about 30 minutes for a great shine. Nice results, not too noisy. Would be awesome if it had a time, but alas, it does not. To scoop out my brass I use a slotted kitchen spoon and just go digging for them. I don't find that too cumbersome, and it seems easier and less messy and expensive then some of the contraptions I've seen for this purpose
