Garmin GPSMAP 195, 196, 295, 296, 396, 495, 496, GPS III Pilot, 89, 90, 92, 95 AVD / XL and GPSCOM 190 update and repair services.
As I'm sure you're aware by now, Garmin does not support the majority of the units listed above any longer. That includes both hardware as well as software; so it is no longer possible for the end user to update the aviation database or the operating system on the GPS III Pilot, 89, 90, 92, 95, GPSMAP 195 or the GPSCOM 190 anymore. We still maintain both the hardware and the software to keep these units up to date and we offer our customers an update service for their out of date GPS units.
If your GPS has the wrong date and time, I can fix it for you. I have the hardware and software to reprogram and correct the incorrect date and time on your GPS.
I can replace your unit's internal memory battery so you will no longer get the error messages "MEMORY BATTERY POWER LOW" OR "STORED DATA LOST."
I can update the operating system software of most of the above listed GPS models to their most current versions.
If you need database updates for any of these units, I can do that as well, especially the older units where the databases are "No longer available." I can put any available Garmin / Jeppesen database you need into the GPS; U.S. or any other available region.
Lastly, I can repair many of these units as I do have a good amount of spare parts for these and have been updating and repairing them for quite a while now.

I am a pilot myself and have used every one of these units at one time or another and know how frustrating it is when you're told that they are just "Expensive paperweights" now.
