I am offering a facsimile (excellent copy) of an original seventeen page
Columbia Manual
titled
"Columbia BELLS INSTRUCTIONS".
This1930s publication was printed by the Groetchen Tool & Manufacturing Corporation covering the "
Twin Jackpot Deluxe Bell
" (introduced in 1939). Most of the instructions appear to apply to the
1936 through 1938 "Standard Bells
". There are
fifteen sections
plus eight mechanism pictures (photos) referenced to a parts list by an Item Number. The front cover contains a pitch for the "New Improved Model" and discloses the operator’s price and payment terms. This manual measures 8½” x 5½” and is copied on 20LB paper, with 67LB covers, which makes it look quite authentic. The typewriter text is legible, however, the photos are somewhat faded
but still helpful.
