R.L. Winston Rod Co vintage Fly Reel box. Box is in nice condition for age and is three inches in height. It shows normal wear with rubs, scuffs and a scratch on top. Please see photo of me pointing to scratch. I have not tried to sand or clean this box up. Selling this box as I received it.
Box was owned by Frank Thompson from Maryland. Winston sold boxes along with a presentation reels at one time.
Frank was a great fly tier and fished with President Jimmy Carter. Franks name is engraved on top label. Reel is lined with cork.
