RCBS Case Forming Trim & File Die For 8x68S - 8x68S from 300 Win Mag Case & Trim

This is a RCBS case forming and File Trim Die in 8x68S Mauser caliber for forming and trimming cartridge cases.
This die will form 300 Winchester Magnum cases into 8x68S ones . It is also a file trim die for standard 8x68S cases.
According to RCBS to form cases this is the procedure:
"........The 300 Win. Mag. can be formed to 8x68S. The belt may need to be turned down to fit the chamber. The rim diameter may need to be turned down to .511 diameter. Some rifles may accept the 300 Win. Mag. case without any modification.
Case length will be a little short.
RCBS CFDS part number 58248 is a 8x68S Trim Die. You size (form) 300 Winchester case in the trim die. Size case in the 8x68S F.L. Sizer Die and you are ready to load....."
To trim you merely run the case into the die and any brass that sticks up can be trimmed with a standard mill file. ( it won't damage the hardened die)
