    What is the S-Drive MAX?
The S-Drive MAX is an SIO Device that will allow you to load ATR, CAS, & XEX files.  ATR files are a special compressed disk format for the Atari 8-bit (400/800/XL/XE) series of computers.  The S-Drive Max, as produced by The Brewing Academy, comes with a starter set of ATR files (public domain).  Also included on the microSD card are CAS files.  These are file-based versions of cassette programs.  Instead of having to load from cassettes that have long since gone out of availability, you can load them from a file.  Finally, the 8gb uSD card also includes some XEX files. XEX files are executable files.  Normally, you would have to load a DOS (Disk Operating System) and then load these file from there.  With the SDrive-Max, you can load them easily from the microSD card!  You can find many more of these from such websites as AtariAge, AtariMania, and The Bates Motel BBS (soon!)
You can certainly build your own, or you can buy this one already assembled and ready to go from The Brewing Academy.
    Shipping includes insurance.
