    New Oil Line Clamps
    New Internal/External Carb Screws

If you have owned a seadoo for any length of time you know the gray lines destroy carbs and destroy engines, and maybe you have even seen the aftermath of them already (poor throttle response, bogging, eventually resulting in a blown motor). I have included a couple photos of what will inevitably happen to your carbs and filters if you don't change them, and also what often happens to the steel internal screws in the carburetors over time. Anyone who cares about their Seadoo and wants it to last should
get rid of the gray fuel lines and the original oil lines ASAP
. But it is also smart to clean out the carb filters at the same time, and while your doing that
you should really consider changing the screws over to something a little more durable and a little more serviceable
. Upon reinstalling the carbs, its
best to use new carb base gaskets to ensure leak free operation so your engine isn't running lean
    . On 787 Engines,
you also need to periodically clean your power valves
(RAVE valves) and when reinstalling, its best to use new gaskets and O rings to ensure effective leak free operation. Another item that often gets overlooked is
    changing the pump oil
, which is very easy but typically requires new O rings when reinstalling the pump cone and nozzle in order to achieve a leak free seal. You should also periodically replace the
    spark plugs
, and if you are like me, you are constantly dropping the
    battery hardware
    upon installation.
This kit just gives you all the materials at once and speeds up the process. All this maintenance us relatively easy and does not require a professional.
Fuel lines: Includes USA black 30R7 HBD Thermoid ethanol resistant lines, all pre cut and labeled to make the fuel line swap as painless as possible for you. Even includes the small lines that go between the carb returns, if you choose to use them. Also included are 18 made in USA Oetiker crimp clamps (OEM), which is all you need for the entire fuel system (excluding vent lines). First step is to install lines on fuel selector and filter cap. From there you will just need to connect 3 lines onto your fuel baffle by matching up the labels on the lines to those on the top of the baffle. Then you will simply route the lines through and connect them to the carb inlet and return, which are also labeled. The carb return will be toward the back of the ski. The lines are measured to fit the machine advertised and cut straight. The Oetiker clamps do a superb job of sealing and preventing leaks, and offer serious durability. Leaks are extremely dangerous on a jet ski, there is a reason bombardier uses these at the factory.
Oil lines: Made in USA Tygon 4040F fuel and oil resistant line. Oetiker made in Germany OEM double pinch clamps. Pre cut for 787 engine, just push lines on and gently crimp clamps and you are done. The oil pumps do not normally fail, the original lines do. If your oil lines still have paint on them, you are on borrowed time, and lubrication failures are never cheap.
Carb screws:  Stainless steel allen head USA made hardware to eliminate corrosion and eliminate stripped fasteners during rebuilds. Includes the following, which is everything needed to replace all fasteners (inside and out) on a dual 787 carb setup.
2- Stainless Seat retaining screw - allen head
    2- Stainless lock washer
2-Stainless Needle retaining screw- phillips head
2-Stainless Metering block check valve screw- allen head
    2-Stainless Flat washer
4-Stainless Metering block retaining screws - allen head (the factory screws always strip due to a combination of corrosion and their phillips head, but these will have neither issue)
8-Stainless External Cover screw, metering side- allen head (the factory screws are stainless but strip due to phillips head being unable to handle removal torque)
8-Stainless External Cover Screw, fuel pump side - allen head (same as above, get rid of the phillips head). Includes 4 long and 4 short for the non pump side.
    8- Stainless Lock Washer
    4- Stainless Flat Washer
Carb base gaskets: Brand new set (2 pcs) of carb base gaskets for twin Mikuni SBN 40 carbs on 787 engine. Quality gaskets made in USA from OEM material. If you are going to be revamping your ski you might as well put it back together right so you don't have to worry about air leaks. Chances are your old gaskets are due for replacement or get damaged during carb removal, best to be on the safe side and change them out before reinstalling the carbs. Send me a note if you have a different engine and I can get you different carb gaskets as needed.
Exhaust Power Valve (RAVE) Gaskets: Brand new set (2 pcs) of power valve gaskets for 787 engine. Quality gaskets made in USA from same material brand as OEM, but gaskets are a different color due to high temp material used. Also includes two new FKM material O rings, rated for high temperatures. When you clean your rave valves (which you should do annually) often times the gasket will get damaged and leak. Its best to replace them when you can. And the factory O rings harden over time and lose their effectiveness.
Pump O rings: Brand new set (1 pcs cone and 2 pcs bailer) of O rings for seadoo 140mm pump housings. Often times when you pull your pump cone the originally O ring cannot be reused as it has stretched and will not seal and leak out new pump oil. Its best to replace this o ring when you change your pump oil. Also includes two small bailer o rings, which deteriorate with time and if not functioning, will cause your bailer siphons inside the ski to actually leak water in instead of pump water out.
Spark plugs: Brand new NGK BR8ES plugs. Exact OEM spec plug that should be used on your 787 engine. No point in doing all the updates but leaving in the old plugs, which could be fouled out or damaged.
Replacement battery hardware: Face it, these things are the devil. Constantly falling out of the battery upon installation or getting dropped down into the hull, never to be seen again. Who couldn't use an extra set?
Give me a call if you have any questions before purchasing or during installation etc, I am happy to help. All this is relatively easy and I have done my best to put this together so that the average person can do this maintenance on their own, without having to pay a dealer, etc. I also can put this kit together for just about all years and models, so just send me a message or give me a call if you need this same kit for a different year and model than I have listed.
