Sony Playstation PS1 Recap Service Motherboard Electrolytic Capacitors + LED

Description

Service is for replacing the electrolytic capacitors on the
motherboard
of a Sony Playstation 1 console and replacement of the stock green LED with a color of the buyer's choice (options include white, blue, red, and purple). Please send a message including the color of LED you would like included with the console at the time of purchase, or we will leave the stock green LED in place. All caustic fluid will be cleaned from the motherboard as well to prevent damage in the future.

This is great preventative maintenance on consoles of this age as the electrolytic capacitors are beginning to fail, leaking caustic fluid on the motherboards that is causing damage over time. If you plan on installing an XStation into your Playstation, then I strongly recommended having the capacitors replaced as well to ensure the longevity of your investment.
One of the photos is an actual Playstation console I serviced where substantial damage occurred to the motherboard from the old capacitors. I also have the skills and tools to repair such damage if it has occurred to your console.

Shipping
Within 24 hours of purchasing this service, the seller will message the buyer with the address details of where to send their PS1 console. The buyer is fully responsible for packaging and shipping the console with a method of their choosing; the seller is not responsible for any damage that may occur during shipping.
For return shipping, the seller will ship the console with the method chosen by the buyer at checkout. The buyer is also responsible for return shipping fees. The console will be worked on in the order received, but the buyer can generally expect the service to be completed and the console to be shipped back to the buyer within two (2) business days of receipt.
Warranty
Purchase of this service will come with a warranty of one (1) year for the work performed. The warranty does not cover other parts in the PS1 console that are also prone to failure (laser unit, power board capacitors unless also purchasing the
