    Description

    Tiny Hendryx Antique Trout Reel
    Here is a tiny antique Hendryx brass trout fly or bait casting reel, with plates about 2" to the edge of the raised pillars.  The Walking Liberty half dollar in the first photo is for scale only and is not included.  Foot has been punched with 2 holes, probably in order to tack it onto an old wooden rod or cane pole.  The Hendryx name and early 1876 and 1888 patents are stamped on the foot although worn and partially obscured by the holes.  Nice patina.  Weighs 2.0 ounces.  Single action, no click.
