Valentine 101 Single Action Fly Reel

This is the classic “Pflueger Medalist on steroids” in good shape. I see only a single scuff on the outside of the frame, and mechanically it’s perfect. Valentine stopped making these years ago, but they still service them with parts. These reels are getting more and more difficult to find. I’ve used this reel only a couple of times in salt water. I really love it, but I don’t use it enough to justify keeping it. I’d like to see it go to someone who’ll use it regularly. This reel is set up for right-hand retrieve. This is the largest single action reel that Valentine made. It will take a 10- or 11-weight line easily. I’ll mail only within the United states.
