Note---Note.  Read this first.  This listing is for repair services on equipment that you send in.  The pictures are examples and none of them are for sale.
So you have a lovely piece of vintage audio equipment.  It isn't doing so well.  Perhaps it has failed altogether or perhaps it is just marginal and you know it can do better.  You have determined that you would like to have it checked out by an expert.  You have come to the right place and I can help you with your prized piece of stereo equipment.  You probably have questions about your baby.....What is likely to be wrong with it?......How likely is it to be restorable so it can be returned to service?.....How long does it take and what will it cost.  You may contact me and ask these questions and I will be able to tell you much about what to expect.  Or you may send it in, and after it has been bench checked, we will have hard information.  The cost of the initial checkout applies toward any service done.  Either option is ok with me.  So let me know what you have and what it is doing, and I will be glad to help.
Note that my specialty is vintage audio.  This means major brand audio components dating from the early 60's to the late 70's....with a few pieces from the early 80's being worthwhile.  I have been in the business of servicing such units since 1971.  There is very little that I haven't seen.  Thanks, Bill
