Vintage Pflueger Medalist No 1492 DA Fly Reel Made in USA

This listing is for a vintage Pflueger Medalist No. 1492 fly reel.  The "DA" is a date code that indicates this version was introduced in 1970 and was manufactured in Fayetteville, AK. The reel is very nice with signs of normal use including a bit of finish loss in spots, but presents nicely and would be a perfect user on that special fiberglass or cane rod that needs a vintage reel that isn't heavy or large.  The click pawls can be set for either left or right-hand wind and it has a very solid click sound.  Overall this is a great reel that's ready to get back on the water right away!
